Cookie and Device Storage Policy

Effective date November 5, 2026

This policy explains cookies, local storage, SDK identifiers, and similar technologies used by Quantx on the Quantx website and applications. It supplements the Privacy Policy. A technology's label does not determine whether it is essential or whether permission is required.

1. What these technologies do

Cookies and other storage can recognize a browser or device, keep you signed in, remember a choice, protect an account, or measure usage. Some technologies send information to another organization. Mobile SDKs and device identifiers can perform similar functions without browser cookies. A model file or document stored locally for a requested feature is different from an advertising identifier, but its storage still needs an accurate explanation.

2. The current inventory

The technologies actually enabled are listed below. Each entry identifies the provider, specific name or identifier, purpose, data received, duration, recipients, and control.

  • Authentication and session storage: browser local storage that keeps you signed in.
  • Security and abuse-prevention storage: local storage holding your device's non-extractable signing key reference.
  • Saved preferences and consent records: local storage for theme, settings, and saved drafts.
  • Optional analytics: none currently used.
  • Advertising, attribution, or cross-site tracking: none used.
  • Embedded media, widgets, or third-party integrations: Stripe checkout cookies when you open checkout.
  • Mobile SDKs and device identifiers: none beyond platform services required to run the apps.
  • Local AI models, indexes, and application caches: browser storage for downloaded Quantx Core model files and offline app caches.

If a category is not used, its published entry states "Not used" after verification. It must not be populated with assumed vendor names or an illustrative cookie lifetime.

3. Essential and optional technologies

We use technologies necessary to provide a feature you request, maintain an authenticated session, or protect the service, within the applicable legal rules. We explain those uses even where consent is not required.

Optional technologies are activated according to the preferences and permissions required in your region. Where consent is required, optional technologies do not load before a valid choice. A narrow legal exception is used only after its conditions are assessed, not merely because the technology is helpful to us. Continuing to browse is not treated as consent to optional tracking.

4. Managing your choices

Open Settings, under Data & privacy to review, reject, or withdraw optional choices. The first choice interface offers "Accept optional," "Reject optional," and "Manage choices" without preselected optional categories. Essential technologies remain limited to their stated purposes. Where a device permission or app-store tracking permission is required, the relevant platform control applies in addition to our controls.

Browser deletion or blocking may sign you out, remove preferences, or affect requested features. Changing browsers or devices may require setting choices again. Preference records are retained for up to 2 years.

5. Opt out signals and advertising choices

Our current sale, sharing, and targeted-advertising practices are none: Quantx does not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it for targeted advertising. Where an applicable law requires recognition of a supported opt-out preference signal, we apply it to the browser or device and related known profile as required. Our implemented signal handling is honored as a request to opt out of sale and sharing, although no such processing occurs. We do not require an account simply to submit an applicable opt-out.

Advertising opt-outs, optional analytics preferences, and withdrawal of consent may have different effects. The Privacy Rights page explains the applicable mechanisms. We do not describe a signal as implemented until its behavior has been tested.

6. Updates and contact

We update the inventory when material technologies or purposes change, and obtain renewed permission where required. Contact support@getquantx.com with questions. The Privacy Policy explains broader retention, recipient, and request practices.
