Account and Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your Quantx account and associated information without reinstalling an app. This page applies to accounts provided by Quantx, the operator of Quantx.

1. Request deletion

In a supported app, use Settings, under Data & privacy, Delete account. On the web, use getquantx.com/data-export. If you cannot sign in or use either path, contact support@getquantx.com from the account address if possible. We request only information reasonably needed to verify authority. Never send a password, private key, or full card number.

The web page and in-app flow identify the account, explain consequences, and let you submit a genuine deletion request. Temporarily freezing an account is not the same as deleting it. We confirm receipt and the expected handling period: 30 days, subject to applicable legal deadlines and any properly notified extension.

2. Before completion

Export content you want to keep using getquantx.com/data-export, if available. Review linked subscriptions and workspace membership. We explain direct and app-store cancellation steps and provide help where a subscription cannot be managed in our interface. A subscription issue must not be used to evade mandatory deletion rights.

Disconnect devices and integrations you no longer want linked. Account deletion revokes all sessions, device keys, and integration tokens linked to the account. Workspaces controlled by an employer or customer may retain records under their own authority; we explain which controller should receive a request and assist as required.

3. What is deleted

Deletion covers the account information and associated service data identified in the Privacy Policy, including applicable stored prompts, files, outputs, preferences, and identifiers, except information retained for a specific lawful reason. We communicate applicable deletion instructions to our processors and participating routes under the arrangements governing them.

Locally stored models, documents, downloaded files, and exported copies may remain on your devices. Remove them using your browser's site data settings or by uninstalling the app. Uninstall behavior varies by platform and storage location. Information another independent recipient lawfully controls is subject to that recipient's obligations; we do not promise to erase a copy outside our control by pressing a button.

4. Retained records and backups

Limited information may be retained for tax, fraud prevention, security, legal claims, or a valid preservation obligation. The actual categories, reasons, and periods are billing and tax records for up to 7 years, and security logs for up to 90 days. They must be restricted from ordinary reuse. Backup expiry follows overwritten within 30 days, and deletion instructions are reapplied if a backup is restored.

If a request cannot be fully granted, we explain the lawful basis and available appeal or complaint route, subject to legally required confidentiality. We do not claim every distributed or historical copy disappears immediately.

5. Other choices

You can also request deletion of particular information where applicable, correct inaccurate data, withdraw optional permissions, stop marketing, or disconnect a node without deleting the entire account.
